What are the benefits to installing through Vortex over dragging and dropping manually to my data folder from the zipped archives I downloaded from the Nexus? Usually you rely on a lot of external tools for modding Bethesda games, like. Vortex and MO2 are both very powerful but have different philosophies. I also hate the in-game mod activation, but didnt have a way around that other than physically typing it into the plugins. Plus Ive heard people say that vortex is the worse mod manager. The only reason I use Bethesda as well is that I started playing on Xbox before PC. For mods that have specific choices you need to make, I understand the obvious convenience of the mod manager. I use both but Nexus is almost always the better option.
